Common Questions

Is This for Freelancers and One-Person Businesses?

Yes. Freelancers, 1099 contractors, and sole proprietors can request a review without having employees or forming an LLC.

Can I Review My Renewal Before Another Year Starts?

Yes. Have your renewal notice and current plan details ready for a comparison. A review does not change or cancel your current policy.

Can I Review Coverage for My Family Too?

Yes. Your spouse and children's coverage needs can be included, even if only one household member is self-employed.

Can I Request a Review If I Pay the Full Premium?

Yes. The review is also for self-employed households paying for coverage without a Marketplace subsidy.

Do I Need My Completed Business Tax Return to Get Started?

No. You can submit the initial request without tax returns or medical records. Later application requirements depend on the plan.

Does the Request Form Enroll Me or Replace My Current Plan?

No. It starts a conversation with KHS. Choosing a plan and completing an application are separate steps.

Compare Coverage and Cost

Marketplace plans are private insurance. Outside the Marketplace, some plans are ACA-compliant; others use medical underwriting and may exclude pre-existing conditions, cap benefits, or cover fewer services. A lower premium does not mean equivalent coverage.

Compare what each plan covers, excludes, and could cost when you need care.

Protection for today. Confidence for tomorrow.

Korbos Health Solutions LLC is an independent insurance agency, not a government agency. Services are available where licensed. Availability, eligibility, premiums, benefits, exclusions, underwriting, and enrollment rules vary by state and plan. Non-ACA products may lack ACA protections. Limited-benefit and fixed-indemnity policies do not replace comprehensive major medical coverage. Savings, approval, and effective dates are not guaranteed. Keep existing coverage until any replacement is approved, effective, and understood.
